Trick or Treat!

We started Halloween week with carving my first pumpkin. I was not impressed.
Mom, why do you want me to stick my hand in there? It's gross.

Eeew!
I'll have you know they tricked me! They put my magnet in the pumpkin!

I was trying on my flash costume. That sounded more fun than getting my picture taken with my pumpkin.
On Halloween, I got to have a costume party at Miss Amy's house! It was so much fun!

Little gorillas are friends with all the animals.
It was a fun party. These are my daycare friends and some of their siblings. I love Miss Amy's house!
Then Mom and Dad (and Uncle Ken and Aunt Katie) wanted to get pictures of Emma and I...We were not enthused.
Really?! You are making us look at the sun.

Like we said, not in the mood.

We are now ignoring you.
Then we went trick or treating. First we went to Grandma and Grandpa Johnson's.
Grrrr! I'm a scary gorilla!
Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Vivier's.
Mmm banana!
Sleepy little gorilla....

Missing my sister

My older little sister went away. I cried. She's always looked out for me.

She tested out my gear to make sure it was safe enough for me to use.

Then she kept an eye on Mom and Dad to make sure they were taking good care of me.
She even taught me how to lay on the floor to get attention.
She was there during my late night feeds.
And patiently waited for me to get my breakfast in the morning before she got hers.
I sure loved our family walks.

My older little sister sure was awesome.

Miss you little Machi.

So much fun being one!

So far this being one thing is pretty cool. I've been having lots of fun lately.

So happy!

I've been going on my own adventures...
...or at least leading the way for our family walks.
This weekend we went to the pumpkin patch! It was pretty cool! I got to play in a bunch of corn.
I was a little confused though...mom kept saying I couldn't eat it like I normally can.
Then we went for a hayrack ride!

I really liked looking over the side.
Then I got to pick out a pumpkin! Unfortunately, the sun went away while we were there and it got chilly fast...so I picked out my pumpkin quick.

I love my pumpkins!

Party Time!!!

So apparently having a birthday means you get to party. And that is just pretty darn cool. My day started out pretty typical.

I read some books:

And wandered around:

But when I woke up from my afternoon nap, there was all sorts of fun stuff up:

I had fun investigating all the festivities around the house.

Mommy wanted my picture under that sign thing...but I thought running away sounded more fun.
Then people started to come over!

Then they told me it was time for presents.

But I thought Mommy & Daddy did a fine job of opening presents and I just played with stuff.

Chomp chomp chomp!
However, then someone told me there was cake.
It was kind of like when we have spaghetti because I got to take off my clothes and just be in my diaper. But then we went outside, and there were a bunch of people watching me.
They sang me a song!
And then I finally got cake.
 Best. thing. ever.

mmmmmmm

You must all be jealous of me and my cake.
This is amazing.

Whatever dudes, you can watch me all you want, I'm not sharing.
