We went on a family road trip to Texas! This time instead of Austin (City Limits), Texas, we went to San Antonio. And this time we drove in the rental car instead of flying. We even took the dogs!
Here we are all packed up and ready to go!
We got to watch a lot of movies in the car. It was awesome!
nap break |
Then we made a pit stop. Daddy got gas for the car and we ate some treats.
Pretty sunset in Oklahoma.
so many windmills! |
I used the headphones when Damien was napping.
Then I threw up when we stopped for lunch. And I napped on Mommy.
I ate yummy pizza!
Monday was way better! No one was sick and we got to go to the Silos that Mommy keeps talking about.
There were these cool toadstool stumps to sit and climb on.
Mommy was really excited!
They had lots of cool games and things to do. I liked tossing the bean bags!
They had cool bean bags to sit on, too!
I gave Damien a ride!
This where they keep all the fun things to do.
We found some blocks to build with. We made a balance beam!
Then we got to pick out lunch and of course pick out cupcakes for dessert.
So yummy!!! |
Then Mommy said we had to take our picture here, too.
Mommy said there are like 700 miles from our house to here. |
Mommy tried for one more picture. Damien and weren't in to it.
This is our vacation rental car!
And this was our vacation house in San Antonio!

For breakfast we found this awesome place with my name!
Stacking challenges while we waited for our food.
Ta-da!
Yum! So hungry! Joseph and me ate blueberry pancakes!
Mommy's breakfast |
Daddy's breakfast |
After breakfast we went to a park!
For dinner we went to this yummy place that had puffy tacos! Except Damien and I got cheese quesadillas.
Wednesday was finally Uncle Wyatt's graduation day! They all came running in!
Hard to see, but he's in there!
Then we had to wait and have snack time before the next part started.
Wyatt is in that line! He is an honor guard! That means he did really good on tests.
After the honor guards got coins they marched out in their flights.
All the soldiers were nice and cozy in the sun. It was a little chilly in the stands!
Congratulations Uncle Wyatt!!!
Grandpa Al and Grandma Jackie were really happy to see Uncle Wyatt.
After graduation we got to hang out with him! We had lunch together and then saw where he slept!
Then we went bowling and got to wear these awesome shoes!!!
I cheered for everyone!
It was a long day for me. I didn't get in my usual nap, so I crashed on the way home. I even kept sleeping when Mommy took me out of the car!
After my power nap it was fun to be silly at our house.
On Thanksgiving we went to a place called the Riverwalk!
Damien and I were not in to picture taking. |
We got to eat at a place where we sat right next to the water!!!
A bird tried to join us for breakfast!
And there was a duck under our table!
Then I got sick. I was feeling great and playing hide and go seek with Uncle Travis, but then I was sleepy and my head hurt. I still wanted to go to dinner. We went to Ihop and I fell asleep on Mommy.
Nala was naughty while we were gone. She chewed on part of the rug.
Friday morning I was feeling better! It was time to pack up and start to head home.
silly car faces! |
We stopped at this cool place for lunch.
We found couches to sit and eat our lunch at.
silly face time! |
Mommy got a pumpkin pie shake. It was so yummy!
There were lots of bridges while we were driving! Damien loved it!
We made a pit stop on the way back to Oklahoma City. Damien napped through it.
I had a treat from the gas station while daddy walked the dogs.
Mommy found some Christmas lights and made us pose by them. We weren't too enthused.
Mommy also thought she should take some pictures of us while we were sleeping. She's so silly sometimes.
Breakfast at the hotels was fun because we'd get to go with Daddy to pick out what we wanted.
Daddy drove the whole time. Thank you Daddy!!!
Our final stop before home was getting lunch. We liked the fresh air and practicing our ninja moves while we waited for lunch.
Vacation was great! It was a long way to drive, but we liked watching lots of movies and coloring along the way. We were so happy to get to see Uncle Wyatt graduate and hang out with family.
