Vacation!

We went on vacation! We went to Texas! To a music festival!

Friday morning we woke up really, really early. Mommy and Daddy got us loaded in the car and we were on our way to Omaha.

My birthday request is for you to not take my picture at 3am mom...

Airport! We made it to Omaha and headed for the plane. Happy Birthday Damien-you get your first airplane ride!

And off we went!!!

I don't know why everyone else stayed awake...I think they forgot how early it was. 

We were all very excited to get off the plane. I think Damien was the most excited. He slept for a little bit, but then didn't like Mommy holding him all the time.

This is our house that we stayed at in Austin. It was great!

I was ready for a nap after an early morning of traveling.

I enjoyed playing with all the new toys we rented while Damien napped.

Each day we walked to the music festival. Well, Damien and I rode in the stroller while Mommy and Daddy walked.

I realized I was also tired after a early morning of travel. 

Texas has cactus everywhere and really pretty flowers.

We always checked out the Kiddie Festival first. Dad made sure we checked out the rules on Day 1.

They had lots of fun things to do!

 I got a tattoo!

Inside the kiddie festival they had fun music that we danced to and got to wear these silly hats. 

Then we went out to listen to some music.

It's a little hard to see, but I had sparkly hair!

Day 1 was fun, but we were all exhausted.

Our house only had a shower, so I got to have sink baths! They were great!

 I decided to put on a fashion show!

These were some of the cool houses that we passed on our daily walk.

It's hard to tell from this picture, but I wasn't feeling the best. I woke up at night with a fever.

But I didn't let that keep me from making new friends at the festival.

You can tell I am not feeling well. I pretty much spent all of Day 2 in the stroller.

In the mornings, we'd walk to a coffee shop. And there was a house along the way that had a goat!

Day 3 we were feeling better again!

I celebrated with my 3rd tattoo and spiky hair!

 They had really cool tents to play in!

I was feeling better, but I still didn't want to eat a whole lot. Even this chocolate covered banana. Only a couple bites.

I think 3 days of festival wore us out.

I was so delirious I woke up after LCD Soundsystem and didn't go back to bed until after midnight!

Our final day in Austin was just a day to relax.

 This was the coffee shop we walked to. They had chocolate milk and muffins and cinnamon rolls. And we got to eat outside. It was so fun!

Later on we went to this cool park that was a few blocks from our house.

Part of the park looked like a treehouse!

On Tuesday it was time for us to head back. We all survived vacation...
