Party Time!!!

So apparently having a birthday means you get to party. And that is just pretty darn cool. My day started out pretty typical.

I read some books:

And wandered around:

But when I woke up from my afternoon nap, there was all sorts of fun stuff up:

I had fun investigating all the festivities around the house.

Mommy wanted my picture under that sign thing...but I thought running away sounded more fun.
Then people started to come over!

Then they told me it was time for presents.

But I thought Mommy & Daddy did a fine job of opening presents and I just played with stuff.

Chomp chomp chomp!
However, then someone told me there was cake.
It was kind of like when we have spaghetti because I got to take off my clothes and just be in my diaper. But then we went outside, and there were a bunch of people watching me.
They sang me a song!
And then I finally got cake.
 Best. thing. ever.

mmmmmmm

You must all be jealous of me and my cake.
This is amazing.

Whatever dudes, you can watch me all you want, I'm not sharing.

Oh Happy Happy Day!!!

Happy Birthday to ME! Holy cow-I'm one year old! I am just getting so big so fast! I like this birthday thing. When I woke up, Mommy & Daddy kept telling me 'Happy Birthday!' and then they sang me a song.

Moooom! Too soon and too bright!

One year ago I was so small:

And now I am sooo big!

For my birthday, I got to have all my favorite foods to eat:
Berry pancakes and cheesy eggs

PBJ and kiwi
We even sang and danced the peanut butter jelly song...in case you don't know:

For dinner I had spaghetti...but Mommy didn't get a picture.

I also read all of my favorite books and wrestled my with my bear.

And I walked all over the place

Rawr!! I'm gonna get you!

So far I think being one is pretty fun!

Can't stop won't stop

Well folks, I'm getting pretty good at this new form of transportation called walking. It's really fun, too!

I also got to hang out with my cousin for the first Husker game of the season. We had our own little pre-game action to entertain the grown-ups.
Goooo Biiiig Reeed!
Remember how I like to try to walk around now? Well, this has led to a fun new game at bath time! I think it is so much fun to walk or crawl away as fast as I can so Mommy & Daddy have to come and get me.

I'm free!!!!
Just try and catch me...
Alrighty...I let them catch me...I was tired.
Good night!
