Meet Nala!

We got a puppy!!!!

On New Years Eve, we drove to Omaha to meet a bunch of puppies. They were all so cute! We picked one they called Adeline. On the way home, we talked about names for our puppy. I really wanted Bumble Bee. Then later I wanted Dallas.

Mommy and Daddy went to pick up our puppy while Damien and I were still at Amy's house.

Damien and I were really excited to have our new puppy Nala home!!!

Nala is lots of fun. We have to make sure to tell her no if she tries to bite or jump on us. 

She and Bella both like bedtime stories. 

We have to teach Nala to wait for her food like Bella does.

I like reading to Nala.

We love our new sister!

Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year!!! We went to a party at our friend Harper and Noah's house. There were balloons! My friend Peter and I were having lots of fun. Mommy was trying to get a picture, but we kept moving. 

And we had a dance party!!! They have a really cool light that had colors and we danced all over.

We got fun crowns, too!

Look out! I can walk!!!

So, I've been walking around holding on to stuff for awhile now. If I couldn't hold on to something, I'd just crawl really fast to get to what I wanted. I'm a pretty good crawler. Well, the week of Christmas I decided I want to walk! And not just a few steps here and there-I want to walk all over the place! I get better and better at it each day! Check me out!!!

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!

We had a busy holiday weekend! It was fun, then I got the flu, then it was fun again!

Friday we had our daycare party! I was so excited!

Amy calls us Thing 1 and Thing 2...we like to do all sorts of fun things together! 

 After Amy's house, we went to Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Al's house for dinner and some family gifts.

 When we got home Friday night, I threw up. Darn flu.

On Christmas Eve, Joseph was sleepy all morning and the threw up again. I watched Daddy and Bella play fetch outside, then I was ready for my own morning nap!

While Damien and I were sleeping, Grandma Sue and Uncle Ken brought over all of our presents from them. We used the computer to talk and open presents together. It is more fun to be in person, but we were happy to hang out on the computer.

Later, I spent the day practicing my new steppers! I was feeling better all the rest of the day and weekend.

Finally, I woke up from my nap and got to open my presents that were delivered!

Christmas morning we started with stockings! They got filled up while we were sleeping!

Bella seemed to really like her new rope.

Then we opened presents from Mommy and Daddy.

I was excited for new books!

I was also excited for my new Captain Underpants book!

I was not the most happy to take a picture in front of the tree.

Then we went over to Grandma Sue and Pop Pop's for brunch!

We played this silly game where there were prizes wrapped up in saran wrap. We each get turns trying to unroll and get a prize!

That night at home we had family back over for dinner and final gifts.

We had lots of fun with our family all weekend! We hope you did, too!

Hanging with Santa!

We saw Santa!!!

Well, I told Mommy and Daddy that I was a little nervous before I talked to him. Mommy reminded me that Damien would be with me and that Daddy could stand with us, too. Daddy showed me pictures of when I saw Santa last year. Then it was our turn to go see him, and we did great!!! I did forget to tell Santa I didn't have any timeouts though.

I wasn't quite sure what to think...this was my first time meeting Santa since I slept through our visit last year. I didn't cry, and he seems pretty nice. Maybe I like this Santa guy!

Learning to give!

So, last month, Mommy and Daddy had us help go through lots of our clothes and toys and things all over the house. We let them know what things we thought others should have instead of us. We filled the back of our car with things to give to others! 

This weekend we were at it again! Even though it was really cold outside, we went to places to help get some gifts for people at Christmas. We found a pair of brothers that we got toys for. We think it will help make their Christmas better! We got them a train, a rocket and a set of instruments! Damien and I thought they would be lots of fun, so we hope they think so, too!

Mommy and Daddy picked out people to get gifts for, too. Then we went to lunch. Damien loves peeking all of the time.

holiday baking!

Every year we make lots of cookies and treats to give to our neighbors! Mommy and I made oatmeal craisin cookies and cookies that had peanut butter chips AND chocolate chips! I was really good at helping. I did mixing and put cookies on the pan. And then I even got to eat some of the dough and cookies right out of the oven! It was awesome! 

Mommy totally made me do this after we were almost done making cookies.
