Story time

Every night I read stories with my Mom and Dad before bed. They each read me one book. We used to read on the chair in my room, but now we cuddle up on my big boy bed. 

 

I'm still loving my big boy bed! It's really cool!

I'm a Big Boy Now!

Guess what?! I got a new bed this weekend! This weekend Mommy, Daddy and I made my room a big boy room! It was awesome.

First, I got to pick out my sheets. I went with the construction ones:

Then, the work began. We took town my old bed, and then Mommy and Daddy moved in the pieces for the new bed. It's a really old and special bed. It used to be my Great Grandma Bonnie and Great Grandpa Bob's bed!

 First we tried it in the middle, then I did some measurements and we moved it to the corner.

And incase you're wondering: Yes, the proper way to do all of this is
while wearing a shirt, no pants/underwear and snowboots. Duh.

 Then we moved in the bed!

Yay!

 Here is my new room!

So far I like it a lot. I did fall out of bed Saturday night. That wasn't so fun. Mommy and Daddy came quickly to my room, and my awesome Daddy stayed with me for the rest of the night in my new bed. On Sunday, they put up the bed rail that was on my old bed, and that seems to have made things better. I just like sleeping near the outside edge and the pool noodle trick just didn't work with my sheets.

 

Overall, I LOVE IT!  

Stuck!

I was playing at Robin and Rachel's house and thought it would be fun to stick my head through the railing...luckily I wasn't stuck for long! 

 

Family Time

I started off my Sunday with some artwork with Daddy.

Later on, we took a walk to the park. I love being outside whenever possible. For the most part I walk all the way there, but I'm glad Mom and Dad bring the stroller when I'm ready for a break.

Of course I played on the slide!

 

 

And then I had fun on the swings, too. In fact, here is a fun comparison from April 2013 to now.

WARM WEATHER!

The weather has finally warmed up, so we've had LOTS of outside time at Amy's. I love it! 

 

Cheesy date

I had a lunch date with my Mommy. Cheesies are awesome. 

 

Car shopping!

This weekend we did something quite new! We went car shopping! My Daddy was looking for a new car because his old one needed really expensive repairs. I liked getting to look around at all the cars, but I really liked getting to ride in them AND the cookies that they had for us to eat.

We spent a long time there in the morning, then we had to go back after nap. Everyone was really nice. They let me color on paper and one guy printed me a special note.

I think car shopping is fun, but Mommy and Daddy said we won't be doing it again for a long time.
