Fun in the rain

Tonight after dinner, Mommy was out on the porch while it was raining. I decided it would be more fun to play in the rain!

What a great night!

So the other day, I was talking about how when I get older, I want to play baseball. So my Daddy surprised me and bought me a new special bat and ball for me to start practicing with!

He taught me about how to stand in front of the ball, hold the bat, and make sure to keep my eye on the ball. And I take a special step before I swing the bat.

Mommy, Damien, and Bella were my cheerleaders!

3 day weekend!

We started off the weekend on Friday. Amy's son Aiden wasn't feeling well, so she had to close. That meant we stayed home and I supervised Daddy, Pop Pop and Uncle Robin work on part of our new patio. 

I'm keeping my eye on you boys!

 Then we went to HyVee to pick up some dinner. It was pretty cool pushing my little brother around.

On Saturday Mommy decided to set me down in the grass. I wasn't quite sure what to think.

Then I got a little thirsty.

This sitting all on my own stuff is pretty cool! I am getting better and better at it!

Weekend updates

So, I decided that this weekend I'd start being anti-tummy time. This is my new trick:

And I like to help grocery shop. In my pajamas. With my headband.

We also got in some quality brother time. It's fun to play together!

FOOD!

 So, for the last month, I've been getting cereal. I think I've decided it's not the worst thing ever.

Now they tell me I get to eat something else! I went to the store with Mommy to pick out my first vegetables. We went with carrots and sweet potatoes.

I also got to have my first cart ride in the buckled seat!

Weeeeee! 

 After the store, we went to Turner and Lennon's house to play. I loved getting to use their swing!

 It was fun to watch the big kids, too.

Then, it was time for dinner...

The first few bites weren't so bad...but then I wasn't so sure.

And then I was sure I was done with carrots. 

Carrots and all that playing wore me out. I was so tired I fell asleep on the way home and slept through a diaper change!

So excited! Amy invited me to go watch Aiden's baseball game! It was awesome!!! 

 

I had special snacks and sat with Jaelyn.

Then we got to go to HuHot for dinner!!!

I even used my chopsticks!

It was a great night. I was so happy to get to hang out!

We're famous!

We are on TV doing our favorite thing: reading books!!!

For Mommy's work, we got to go to the library, and someone made a video of Mommy reading to us. It was so cool!

Car wash

I got to help Daddy wash the car! 

We did some good teamwork and sprayed and washed the car together.

 I thought it was lots of fun to help!
