Fun with Family and Friends

Yesterday we got to spend the day over at Emma and Hadley's house!

Our friend Phineas was in town, so we got to play with him, too. We were outside all day, minus a quick lunch break...and a nap.

It was a GREAT day!

Hospital Tour!

On Saturday we went to visit the hospital. That is where Mommy and Daddy will go when it is time for the baby to come. It was a special tour with other kids to learn about where their new brother or sister will arrive.

First, she showed us this cool wall with water on it. AND we got to touch it.

I was a very good listener while the lady talked to us.

She brought out a tiny little shirt that the baby can wear!

 She asked me if it would fit me...she was silly.

 The rooms had a big window to check out the pond outside!

We stopped by the nursery, and there were two teeny tiny babies in there for us to see.

At the end of the tour we each got shirts and a special coloring book! I'm really excited to be a big brother!!!

Kitchen helper

I like getting to help in the kitchen. Sometimes my jobs are getting things for Mommy and Daddy. Sometimes I even get to do the jobs myself, like crack the eggs!

 

*And in case you were wondering, no, there were not any shell pieces...but there may have been one egg that fell on to the floor instead of the bowl...

Happy Birthday America!

I'd have to say over all, I had a good weekend. I don't really like fireworks though. They scare me.

First, my weekend got to start off with a baseball game!

 While we were waiting for the firework show, I had fun running to Daddy.

 

 

The fireworks started and they were loud. I did not like it. Then I decided I liked the blue ones, but not a fan of how loud they were. I was brave, though, and kept watching as I sat with Mommy. 

Friday, Uncle Ken and Emma came to my house for a surpise bike ride!!!

 

 

After the park, we ate lunch and went swimming at Julia's house for Ernie's birthday!

And after all that, I was just plain worn out. 

 

On the 4th of July, we started the day with a trip to the zoo.

 And of course ended things with the train ride. So fun!

 After nap, we headed over to Cousin Emma and Hadley's house for a block party.

And more pool time!

 

It was a great weekend...but fireworks are loud. I was brave and stayed outside, only with my Mommy's hands helping to cover my ears. I think next year I'll try headphones.
