Art for the baby!

Remember how I told you I was working on a special project for the Baby?

Ta da!!!!

 

I made letters and numbers to decorate the Baby's room!

I have to admit, I didn't want to work on the project as quickly as I think Mommy and Daddy wanted me to. I guess they wanted them done before Baby gets here. But, they are done AND I'm very proud of my work!

Mommy painted the heart that is on the other wall.

As for the rest of the room, this is what Baby's got so far:

The Baby's room is coming right along! 

Weekends are the best

Friday night I got to play outside with my cousin, Emma. We had fun with chalk, riding bikes, eating pizza, and also some shoe swapping.

Saturday was a great lazy day. We didn't leave the house. There was lots of reading. I practiced some cutting.

And then took a 3 hour nap with my Dad. That was pretty awesome.

Sometimes it's just good to be lazy. And stay in your PJs all day.

Seeing my Baby!!!

This morning we went on a special trip! I got to go with Mommy and Daddy to see the baby on a special TV!

First, we read books in the waiting room.

My Mommy laid on this table, and then the lady, Claire, put stuff on her tummy and used a special wand. Then we saw the baby on a TV!

At first Daddy was holding me to see. Then I got down. Then Mommy said it was okay for me to get up on the table and sit next to her at the end. It was sooo cool!

First sleepover!

I had my first sleepover!

On Saturday, Mommy and Daddy went out to celebrate their anniversary. I went to play over at Grandma Sue and PopPop's house. Normally, I get to go over there for awhile, and then they bring me home to go to bed. Not this time! I stayed there and slept in my own special bed! It was great!





Can't wait for next time!

Ducks!

There were ducks...at my house!

 

 

We got home from Amy's, and were in the backyard letting out the dogs. We were going inside when all of a sudden my Mommy said she saw ducks in the front yard! Daddy came home at that time, too, so he was even telling me there were ducks in our front yard! I ran outside to see, and sure enough-ducks!!! 

 

 

I had fun trying to catch them!



Mother's Day Weekend 2015

Saturday morning we went to the Children's Museum! I had fun checking out all the exhibits and things to do. 

 

Pretending to be a gopher.

Having lunch with Dad at the diner.

We had lots of fun together. Then enjoyed lunch at Doozy's.

 

 

Sunday morning I went on a walk with Mom and Bella. There were puddles to stop and splash in along the way. I love puddles!

There were more puddles later! We were at the park for a picnic lunch. Not only did we get to splash in puddles, we got to play in the rain and try to catch it on our tongues.

Daddy and I gave Mommy a special gift today. She got two boxes, a big one and a little one. She said they are very special to her because they represent our family, with both me and the baby on the way.

Change of plans

Wednesday night we got lots and lots of rain. There was also loud thunder when I was trying to go to sleep that scared me. After waiting out a tornado warning, I finally went to bed. Mommy said we had some water in our basement, but that Amy had a lot of water in her basement, so daycare was closed.

 

 

I got to start my day off with visiting Jody and getting a hair cut.

 The plan for Amy's that day had been a fieldtrip to the library. I was really excited to go. Well, Mommy took me instead. I couldn't believe all the books. I loved getting to go pick out different books to read.

After we read lots of books, we ventured over to a little nook at the library where we could have our own puppet shows!

 

I think it's safe to say that the library is lots of fun, and I can't wait til we go back again!

 

Family date night

 

 We went out to dinner with Emma and crew to a fuzzy taco place. I wasn't too sure about eating fuzzy tacos, but Mom and Dad both assured me that there wouldn't be fuzzies on my taco. They were right. My cheese quesadilla was delious as were the potatoes and chips.

Afterwards, instead of going home, we went to Cherry on Top and got some frozen yogurt.

My Baby updates!

Geez, I told you guys I was gonna be a big brother, and then I haven't told you much more since then.

Mommy and Daddy and I have been working together to get Baby J2's room all set up. Here is what it looks like so far:

 

Things are coming along, but Mommy and Daddy said there are still more things to be done. I like to play in the Baby's room some times. I've been coloring some pictures on the chalkboard wall for the baby, too.

Go runners go!

On Sunday we went for a family morning run to go cheer on all the runners in the Lincoln Marathon!

I enjoyed ringing my bell! And saying 'You can do it!'

When we got back home, I decided Bella needed to walk a little more after our run. I took her for a little walk all by myself.

Gardening!

We planted our garden! A few weeks ago, I helped Mommy to plant some seeds in special pots we kept inside. It was fun to watch them grow. Then Mommy and Daddy said they were big enough to go outside. Daddy and I worked on getting the garden area ready for the new plants. 

 

 Ta da! I will get to help water and watch our garden grow. I sure hope I have a green thumb!
