Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!

Christmas snow!!! We were so excited to wake up on Christmas Eve morning to see that it was snowing. Well, Daddy doesn't like the snow, but I sure do. And so does Mommy. I think Damien likes it, too.

I had fun playing with the puppies.

And 'helping' to shovel the snow.

See, Damien likes the snow, too!
I was only happy for a little bit, then I decided I was ready for my morning nap.

The best part of shoveling the sidewalks was getting to have a cookie when we were done. Our neigbor Mel is the coolest.

Then I helped to pack the goodie bags for our neighbor Christmas gifts.

Mommy and Daddy dressed us up for Christmas Eve, and of course Mommy made us pose in front of the tree.

Christmas Eve was fun, but we were all tired at the end of the day. Even the puppies.

Christmas morning we were excited to open up presents. Then I stopped being excited after the first 3 presents.

Later that morning we went to Mike and Deb's for a yummy breakfast. Aunt Deb has a Christmas Witch book that I wanted her to read lots of times. It has a mean scary witch in it, but I really liked the book.

When we got home, Daddy and I went sledding!

Then our family came over to celebrate Christmas. We had dinner and more presents. I got a waffle maker! With chocolate chips!

On Sunday we had one more Christmas because cousins Emma and Hadley were back in town. We brought over our presents in a big blue bag. It was fun to pass out presents, and then play in the bag afterwards.

Cousin Hadley was really excited to discover the box filled with wrapping paper.

Hocus pocus!

We had a great Christmas. I liked getting to see and hang out with all my family, but unfortunately my weekend ended with me getting sick. Boo to the flu. I sure hope my brother and Mommy and Daddy don't get sick!

Merry Christmas everyone!

Growing growing!

I pretty much sleep through the night! I am usually in bed and sleeping around 8pm. Here and there I wake up on my own in the middle of the night, but for the most part I get up at 4am only because Mommy wakes me and wants me to eat a little before she works out. However, I pretty much sleep through my diaper change and feeding. I then get up for the day around 7 when she wakes me up, or I start to stir because I can hear my family getting up and ready for the day and I want to hang out, too!

Yep, I'm a pretty happy lil dude. I still don't like it when my diaper is too wet or after I poop. And don't mess with my meals. I'll for sure let you know when I'm hungry or tired. Then there is the dreaded car seat...sometimes it's not the worst thing ever. But a lot of the times it is the worst thing ever.

Maybe the car wouldn't be so bad if I could just ride shotgun?!
(disclaimer, I was just sitting here after a required milk break before we went to the next store)

Lucky boys

Our Daddy is the best. We love him so very much!

North Pole Express at the Zoo!

It was a little chilly, but we went to the zoo! The zoo was open for a special train ride and visit to see Santa.

We were all bundled up though, so it wasn't too bad.

Emma and I did some patty cake while we waited.

And we waved at all the train passengers while we waited for our turn.

Finally it was time for us to take a train ride!

When we got off the train, Mrs. Claus was there to greet us!

Then it was off to the zoo to see some animals that were out.

Then we stood in line...for a long time...to see Santa! Damien was sleeping, so he didn't get to see him.

After Santa we got to decorate cookies!
before

the delicious after!

After our visit with Santa, we went to the mall. We went to a special tree called a giving tree. We picked out an ornament that told us a present someone wanted. I helped to pick out a coat for a boy. I think he will really like it, and I'm happy that he will have a coat to stay warm when it is cold out.

Mommy is making me help with the laundry already. She thinks she is pretty darn funny...

Tree farm!!!!

We bundled up and headed to the tree farm!

And it was a little too cold to really walk the fields the whole time, so luckily my Daddy pulled Emma and I there. Damien and Hadley got carried the whole time with Mommy and Aunt Katie...lucky ducks.

We found a good one!

And then we got a ride back to the cabin from Daddy and Uncle Ken.

Beautiful success.

Oh so thankful!

Damien and I have so much to be thankful for! We had a great week celebrating and thinking and talking about it all.

First we celebrated with a special lunch with Amy and my friends and all our moms and dads.

On Thanksgiving, we had breakfast and read our book about Stanley the Elf. Then I found him!
Silly Stanley.
 Then we watched the parade!

Daddy and I worked on some puzzles, too.

I made sure to get in my pre-meal workout.

While Damien made sure to rest up.

We clean up well, if we do say so ourselves.

We had a family dinner over at Grandma Sue and Pop Pop's house. Which always seems to include a photo op!

Happy Thanksgiving!
