Sick for Christmas

Well, I definitely did not have being sick on my Christmas list. I did not feel well for the holiday. Bella was very good at cuddling with me to help me feel better. 

 

However, I am a tough little guy. Christmas Eve I had a little more energy. Enough to get dressed up and take some cute pictures. 

My family and I clean up well, don't you agree?

 I really wasn't in to the presents. I mean I liked having my parents open them or seeing what was inside once it was opened, but then I was just tired and ready for bed.

Christmas morning I found Santa came to my house while I was sleeping...but I didn't see him. My mom mustn't have either...she didn't take any pictures. I still wasn't quite sure about opening gifts.

Then we went to Christmas breakfast at Great Grandpa Bob's. Waffles are delicious. And wearing bags on your head when you are Super Joseph is also a lot of fun.

After Christmas breakfast I went home and napped. Then my Grandma Jackie, Grandpa Al, and Uncles Wyatt, Travis, and Jared came over. We had some dinner and there were more presents for me! Being sick just isn't fun. The presents and company was nice, but I was tired and ready for bed early.

Christmas is really pretty. I have liked seeing all the lights and decorations up around my house and all over town. And I have to say, I do like all of my new stuff. However, I'm hoping that next year I stay sick free!!!

Fantastically busy day!



Family day! Today we got dressed and ready to go to a show! I went to my first ballet!!! 

 

 We even went out to eat for lunch. I really wanted PBJ, so we went to Bisonwiches.

 

 It was fantasic.

Then we headed over to the show!!!

 

 There were dancers and lights and costumes and music...it was amazing!

Then, we went to a Husker Wrestling dual!

Unfortunately, the Huskers didn't win. After the dual I got to be Super Joseph on the mat!

I went and visited a bit with the guy in the red suit. Well, he talked with me, I just kinda sat there. I got a little nervous seeing him and couldn't really talk.

Tree Farm!!!

We got our Christmas tree!!! On Sunday, Uncle Ken and Aunt Katie picked us up and we got to ride in Emma's van to the tree farm! Emma and I got all bundled up in our snow suits and boots because it was cold and windy. We're pretty tough, and we braved the elements anyways. Well, I wasn't all that enthused about the cold wind, but I managed.

I was invited to go to Jaelyn's school to help with a project! Amy is Jaelyn's mommy. I got to go to Jaelyn's school, where she showed me different toys to play with and then we got a snack. I played with play-doh, and even got to take some home. It was a fun morning, and then I got to go to Amy's to tell her and all my friends about my special time. 

 

 



First snow of the season!

It snowed!!! Well, I guess it kinda snowed a little before, but this was actually something to play in!

 

My sister Bella isn't quite sure about it just yet, but she'll come around. 

 

 

I think it's pretty fun!

Pumpkin art!

Mom said we needed to change up the pumpkins on the porch because Halloween was over. And our jack-o-lanterns were getting yucky moldy. I got to express my creativity and paint on some new pumpkins. I felt my creativity was best channeled by stripping down to my birthday suit while I painted them. I am pretty proud of my final masterpieces.

On Halloween, I had a party at Amy's filled with lots of goodies to eat. Then I went on to trick or treat!

 

I went to go see Grandma Sue and PopPop first, and then we went to see Grandma Jackie and Grandpa Al. 

 

I decided to upgrade to a larger trick or treat bag.
