Baby J's new stuff: Dog tested, Machi approved

Machi decided she needed to test the safety level of our new car seat.
Apparently it passes the soul thief standards of safety. Side note, we got a car seat.

Maybe it is wrong, but a twenty pound dog is pretty helpful in testing new baby stuff. She didn't care for the jumper.

She seemed to like the bouncer much better.

With crib assembled we called in the testing crew. Again Machi seemed to enjoy the crib. Zoe was less than impressed.

Ben decided to get in on the act and tried out Baby J's newest towel.

Baby J's Crib AKA the Nursery

Alphabet wall. We decided to create an alphabet wall out of objects that look like letters. You really need to think about the letters to see each one. We may have made learning their ABC's a little difficult for little Baby J.

When we moved into the new house, we decided we were going to be "inside tree" people. As a result, Ben felt the need to incorporate the tree into the nursery design. Thus we ended up with 3D monkeys hanging out in the tree. We also made the sun clock. So there is that too.

When Baby J gets here, s/he will tell you this is where the magic happens. Right above the magic is where the 2D monkeys permanently hang out.

Another angle of the 2D monkeys and one of the 3D monkeys. Also that sun clock.

This is a bookcase that Ben made back at our old house. This is where Baby J will store all his/her bling. All the jams will be kicked from here as evidenced by the stereo. However, more importantly, since little Baby J wont "get" the alphabet from our wall, this bookcase will house little Baby J's library. Hopefully, little Baby J will "get" the alphabet from those future books.

Mom and Dad's barkalounger.  plus chalk board wall for little Baby J to be creative and what not.
